Our center is a technology training and media facility, for the benefit of the general public. We offer classes on a variety of computer and photography topics, and offer the use of our Windows laptops, Macintosh graphics workstations, color printers, and wireless network— all for nominal fees. JCC and ORT members receive reduced rates for classes.
The Hermelin ORT uses State-of-the-art 802.11g wireless networking technology to connect all the laptops in our center. Our computers have high-speed internet access, with family-friendly filtering technology that still allows useful research for students.
Our Windows machines are all loaded with the Microsoft Office 2003 and Windows VistaTM. The Macintosh graphics workstations are loaded with the Adobe Creative Suite. We have color laser, photo, and black-and white printers for your hardcopy needs.
